Lynn Slaughter: Choosing Your Point of View – and Avoiding Pesky POV Pitfalls
Join us on January 10 when DRS member Lynn Slaughter discusses all things POV. Make sure you have your questions ready as Lynn talks about one of our most important decisions, the Point of View (POV) from which we tell our story. There are several choices: First Person, Second Person, Third Person Limited, Third Person Omniscient, or combinations of any of those in the case of multiple points of view!
In this presentation, Lynn will take a look at each choice’s advantages and disadvantages, as well as some pesky POV pitfalls to avoid. We’ll talk about the choices we’ve made for our own work and the benefits and problems we’ve encountered.
Please send your questions on POV ahead of time to Lynn, via email, at: lynnslaughter03@gmail.com
